Member privacy

a) Data collection

The Company protects the personal data and privacy of its members. Only those who have clearly filled in the form with all the information requested on the website with a valid e-mail address, and have consented to these Terms and Conditions, may become full Members with an account on the website. The Member agrees to duly complete the registration form by providing accurate information to the Company, who retains the right to end this membership at any time without notice if the Member neglects their obligations. This registration is required to take full advantage of the services offered on the Website. The Company may also ask its Members additional information in relation to specific operations such as games, surveys or promotional offers. The collection of personal information during member registration is to provide access to services available on the Site. The Company and, if applicable, the technical parties involved in the implementation of the Services offered on the Site for statistical use of the Site or improvement of service delivery are the only recipients of the information collected. The Lender agrees and authorizes the Company to provide their personal information to Projects Leaders (except payment information by the intermediation of the Site whose security is protected), from time to time, and as necessary, to provide support for projects on the Site. In addition, the Company may disclose personal information when necessary for the identification, apprehension or prosecution of any individual likely to infringe on or affect (intentionally or unintentionally) the rights or ownership of the Company, Members or any other person likely to be harmed by such activities.

b) Confidentiality of Members’ personal data

None of the information transmitted by the Member during the creation of his account is visible by other Members. These are protected by a username and a password so that only the Member has access to their personal information. The password is personal and confidential. The Member is solely responsible for the use of their password. The Member agrees to keep their password secret and to not disclose it in any form whatsoever. The Member is legally responsible for the use of his Member Account space, including the use of their Member Account space by a third party. The Member agrees to immediately notify the Company of any unauthorized use of their Member Account or any other breach of confidentiality. In no case, the Member is entitled to assign their Member Account or the right to access their Member Account to a third party. The Company will never ask for the Member’s password via a phone call or unsolicited email. The Member must also remember to log out of their Member Account or close the browser window after the work session. This will avoid others accessing their personal information, in the case of computer sharing with another person, or work in a public place like a library or Internet cafe. The Company will undertake every effort to implement technical measures and appropriate organization to protect personal data. On the other hand, websites that have hyperlinks on the site may collect personal information about Members. Information on the practices of these sites is not covered by the General Conditions.

c) Access and modification of members personal data

Each Member shall have the right to access, modify or delete personal data. The Member may therefore be required to rectify, complete, clarify, update or delete information concerning them which is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or outdated. To exercise these rights at any time, each member must login to their Member Account space with their username and password on the Site. To delete their Member account, the Member may send an email with their username and password to the Company.
