WWM LAB is developping a brand new concept focused on children teaching, care and entertainment.
Recent progresses in brain science showed that when educational content is provided early, and friendly in child’s development course, you get multiplied efficiency.
This teaching cannot be passive, but given in an interactive way, with a companion the child likes and trusts.
Meaning that this companion is able to observe, analyze, react and adapt to child's behavior , answers , gestures, mood and degree of concentration , and becomes child's closest friend and mentor.
Fuzzy Robot is also precious at home and day to day life for grown ups , and for Seniors for whom Fuzzy will become a major tool.
Fuzzy Robot - Is not a just a « fuzzy » name, it symbolises its ability to extract from human fuzzy signs the essential parameters to be able to draw attraction from children, teens, adults and seniors and to deduct their state of mind and improve their skills and knowledge, at very early stages in :
- Logic and maths,
- Native language
- Foreign languages,
- Reading and writing
- History, Geopgraphy
- Various science domains.
Fuzzy Robot (not definitive name) is the child’s companion, mentor, teacher , playmate and safeguard (as for seniors ). It is able to communicate in natural language , play and interact with the child, as well as with real objects and toys (passive or connected toys and connected objects or home) .
As a safeguard, it observes the child’s ( or seniors ) behavior and environment and is able to detect and prevent from various dangerous situations and react or alarm ( face/mood recognition & detection, , etc.). It is also able to store data, like videos and some physiological data, and deduct child’s rythms, and capable of predicting needs.
As a play mate , it can propose or play with a wide range of games, using it's integrated display (on the belly and/or its laser projector) and interactive features (touch screen or movements interaction) enabling Fuzzy Robot to interact with real objects, toys and connected devices of any kind.
As a teacher , which is its main purpose, Fuzzy Robot is on duty day and night, using its teaching capacity in all contexts and adapted to all contexts, for instance in a cube play or drawings, it will challenge child’s logic or drawing accuracy, when it speaks, it will introduce new concepts or words in native or foreign language, ask him to repeat, or joke with the kid, to display letters, words, ask him to reproduce a sound or letter or word and play with and arrange them, when it tells a story it can precise some geographical, historical or scientific points and numerous details, the child will memorize in the course of the story or game, it also cares about child’s concentration and mind state, to choose when and what to teach to the child. It stores child's questions , reactions, and is able to detect child's preferences and forms of curiosity ...
As a Mentor, the child will follow advices and instructions from his closest friend : Fuzzy
The interaction with the child is based on 4 channels :
1 - Fuzzy Robot is designed as a kid companion, humanoid shape, as a robot, 18 inches maximum size - in its most complete version - with an animated face :eyes and eyebrows, this is essential to capture child's attention and friendship , with integrated interactive capacities:
3D view (including some night vision capacity), recognize faces & objects, appreciate distances, listen, understand, speak, mood analysis, concentration analysis, movement analysis, tell stories, play music, display... or discuss in an interactive way - adapting to child's reactions or adapting the story (and in such case the characters and background it may synthetize and display), pause, answer a question, lower its voice come back or insist on a specific point, detect when child fell asleep, etc. - The analytic and intelligent part, being processed remotely, in the "cloud".
2- Environment analysis and control : with adapted extensions, Fuzzy Robot is capable of switching the bedroom lights, command or interact with objects and toys, challenge the child (for instance compete with him in a video game or with toys ), control heating, etc...

4 - A laser projector
a laser projector is included in one of Fuzzy robot’s arm ( as an option) able to project or scan on the floor, on a wall, on a ceiling, on objects , and does not need any focusing system. It allows a wide range of interactivity and content.
The laser projection, coupled with Fuzzy’s eyes – allows Fuzzy to scan objects, play with the child, create synthesis images and games, auto adapted to contextual content, as well as to identify solid objects and toys, or other persons/players, to point the objects with a laser beam, to scan them, to reproduce their shape in 3D, interact with a 3D printer, create an itinerary on the floor, show where or how to move them, it also analyses and reacts child's gestures and movements... to be able to interact with the child.
It is safely designed to prevent any eye illumination.
Night time, the various Fuzzy’s Robot sensors are used to help the Child ( or senior) to fall asleep, for sleep care and for Night surveillance and evening interactive teaching.
Fuzzy Robot integrates various other sensors and communication capabilities, and designed in a modular way, meaning that new physical and interaction capacities can be added.
Fuzzy Robot can be delivered with capacity to move ( as an option) . In such case, it will remain in kid's area, and play, talk, with him , teach him, following him or just stay in the area as a safeguard to prevent any problem .
All Smart Phone, Tablet, and computer interaction, analytic data and programming, for parents, are included
This project has multiple extensions and applications, we cannot describe all here , for home kid's surveillance and teaching, health surveillance, hospitals, as well as kindergarden, and to provide a significant help in the third world and disadvantaged countries.

Fuzzy Robot software is developed as an interaction layer between the user (Child, Teens, adults and Seniors ) and any content, like a Foreign langage , geometry, medicine or history teaching course.
